Idris Elba Marries His Model Girlfriend In Morocco

According to a report from The Hollywood Reporter, Idris Elba and his model girlfriend, whom he proposed to last year, just got married in Morocco. The Yardie actor married Sabrina Dhowre. British Vogue caught photographs of the star sharing an embrace with Dhowre, formerly Miss Vancouver.

The outlet claims the couple officially tied the knot and exchanged vows at the Ksar Char-Bagh hotel in Marrakesh. The celebrations took place over a period of three days, approximately, with guests also attending a dinner the night before.

Reportedly, Elba proposed to his girlfriend by dropping to one knee after the screening of his film, Yardie, while at the Rio Cinema in East London, 2018. This is another big win for Idris Elba, whose career has continued to flourish over the last decade.

Previously, it was rumored he would take on the role as James Bond in the next Bond film following the latest, “Bond 25,” that’s scheduled for release next year. However, these were merely rumors, and Elba hasn’t claimed to be taking it on anytime soon.

Moreover, Elba actually DJed at Coachella Music Festival this year alongside other big performers like DJ Snake and Ariana Grande. Previously, he also was the DJ at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding in May of last year.
